Keeping with the notable city commemoration trend, 2018 also marks the 10th anniversary of New Orleans Entrepreneur Week (NOEW). Today, The Idea Village announced specifics for this year’s weeklong celebration of business, innovation, and entrepreneurship in New Orleans. Mark March 19-23 on your Outlook calendars now!
NOEW 2018’s slate of events covers a wide-range of topics including focuses on marketing strategy, women in tech, diversity and inclusion, digital literacy, the future of New Orleans, and more. With JPMorgan Chase & Co as the new presenting sponsor, The Idea Village has set a lineup of dynamic keynote speakers, presenters, and partners including Jim Coulter (Founding Partner and Co-CEO at TPG Capital), Kevin Dawson (Vice President of GE Digital), and Gabrielle Toledano (Chief People Officer at Tesla).
With the growing theme of entrepreneurship in New Orleans, this year will see The Idea Village working with local partners to host events around the city, making the NOEW experience more accessible to entrepreneurs and citizens across the Greater New Orleans area. Citywide partner events will take place March 19-21 (Monday to Wednesday), offering locals the opportunity to participate in events near where they work or live. Following this, the NOEW Summit will take place March 22-23 (Thursday and Friday) at the Contemporary Arts Center (CAC), and The Shop at the CAC shared workspace.
